  1. We’re totally in the same mindset it seems now☺ First of all, I agree with you and I’ve been just thinking about this. I love reading great, in-depth posts, but sometimes all I wanna do is just scroll through a list like this and refresh my inspiration bowl (like I did with yours).
Also, it seems spring is really here and puts us into a positive mindset – I’ve already drafted a similar “things that made me happy this week” post. One of my great goals this year is to become much more attentive to the maybe small, maybe big things that make me happy or smile and really spend some time on appreciating it. A lot of us spend so much time on focusing on the negative, I want to turn that around.

Loved your list and all the positivity,
    Viktoria

    1. So glad that this post resonated with you, Viktoria. I can’t wait to read your “things that made me happy this week” post!

The day that I wrote out the post, I was having a tough day. I think this was just my reaction to remind myself that it’s only a bad day, not a bad life. I have so much to be thankful for and happy about!

  2. I couldn’t agree more with wandering the streets of new places, it makes me feel so happy I love exploring new cities! This post put a little smile on my face! Thank you for sharing ☺️

    1. I love wandering about too. The houses and gardens and maybe getting sneak peak inside as I wander by…adding to my daydream of the housde and occupants.

    1. Glad you enjoyed the list, Lisa. It’s all about the little moments, the tiny things that make our lives so much better. :)

    1. Glad you enjoyed it, Jupiter. I find it so heartening that despite living in completely different parts of the world, there are some things that bring such universal joy. :) :)

  3. Thanks for the reminder to stop and smell the roses as they say. I’ve been so caught up in my to do list I haven’t been able to just enjoy being here and having the sun shine on my face.

    1. I have started to stop and smell all the flowers and plants I can when on a ramble about my city. I have meet some interesting people and had chats about flowers and gardens…on elderly man even gave me some delightful huge home grown tomatoes…picked right in front of me in the sun…they were warm and the most delicious thing….from a kind stranger. Isn;t life full of delightful surprises

  4. Oh this is such a lovely list! I think it is really important that we try to always focus on the positives in life and this is a great way to do it x

  5. This LIST made me happy! Truly! I love a night off, a good book, kitty snuggles, forehead kisses from my husband, a relaxing bath, a glass of cab sauv, hot coffee in the morning, driving through the country, and SO many more things!

  6. I looked at this list and the replies….and they made me happy. It really is quite simple things we all love. I did not notice anything on the happy list resembling: argue with neighbour/spouse/kids or remain grumpy for entire day and share that with strangers. We all want the simple happy things….the smell of a newborn or oranges being peeled or a beautiful perfume wafting for just a second. The happy place is in the heart and soul for all to share.
