High Vibration Habits: How to Raise Your Energy and Attract Positivity

high vibration habits to incorporate in your life

Looking back at my life over the last 5-6 years, I can clearly see periods when my emotional state and accompanying behaviors were far, far away from the ‘high frequency’ territory. I was stuck with my negative thoughts and struggled to operate from a place of high vibrational frequency.

In analyzing my behaviors and with the gift of hindsight, today I understand that a lot of my actions and thoughts came from a dysregulated nervous system, which in itself stemmed from a lot of internal and external factors. However, in the last couple of years, I have actively tried to move away from a low vibe living pattern to a higher vibrational state. It is not a linear journey, but it is definitely worth the effort for the sake of living a higher frequency life.

If you find yourself in a similar situation – feeling stuck, stressed, or overwhelmed in your life, or constantly surrounded by negativity, and struggling to stay motivated and inspired – firstly, know that you are not alone. Many people experience these same challenges at some point in their lives.

But there’s good news – cultivating high vibration habits can help!

Why are High Vibration Habits Important?

If you’ve lived through certain phases where you’ve felt constantly demotivated, stuck, and overwhelmed with life, you know what it feels like to live in a low vibration state. It does not feel good, and call it the law of attraction or whatever else, but operating from a place of low vibration energy seems to have a downward spiraling effect.

On the contrary, when you’re operating at a high vibration, you’re more likely to experience feelings of peace, joy, and contentment. You’re able to navigate challenges with greater ease and resilience, and also more likely to attract positive experiences and opportunities into your life. When you’re in a high vibrational state, you are able to operate from your higher self version.

So, What are High Vibration Habits?

High vibration habits are actions, behaviors, and practices that elevate our overall energy vibration, leading to a more positive and fulfilling life experience. By incorporating these habits into our daily routine, we can raise our mental state to a higher level and attract more positive energy and abundance into our lives.

These habits can include a wide range of activities, from simple things like taking a walk in nature to more intentional practices like meditation or visualization.

At their core, high vibration habits are all about cultivating a sense of well-being and positivity in our daily lives. They help us to release negative energy and emotions, and focus on the things that bring us joy and fulfillment.

Examples of high vibration habits include:

  • Practicing gratitude daily
  • Engaging in regular exercise or movement
  • Mindful breathing and meditation
  • Spending time in nature
  • Practicing kindness and empathy towards others
  • Practicing positive affirmations
  • Listening to high vibration music
  • Eating nutritious, high vibration, healthy foods
  • Finding your purpose
  • Doing shadow self work

These habits are by no means novel, or unheard of. Open any book or article on better living and almost all of these habits would be covered there too. So essentially, a high vibe life, or high vibration living, is nothing but a way to live well so that we are able to access our higher self and go about life with a more positive attitude and abundance mindset.

Of course, high vibration habits are not a quick fix or a one-time solution. And if you’ve been really languishing in a state of negativity and lower frequency for a long time, it takes a lot of effort to move beyond that and move up the energetic frequency scale. Incorporating these habits (or any new habits, for that matter) will require consistent effort and practice, and may take time to see results.

Also, practicing high vibration habits or being more intentional about thinking positive thoughts does not mean that bad things won’t happen, or that you won’t have a bad day. You’re human, after all, and not a robot with no emotions or feelings. However, the power of cultivating these habits as a part of your daily routine is that you will find yourself becoming more resilient over time, more self-aware, and better able to deal with life’s challenges or ask for the help you need.

How to Incorporate High Vibration Habits into Your Daily Routine

Incorporating these better living habits into your daily routine can be a powerful way to raise your energy frequency and attract more positivity and abundance into your life. However, it can be challenging to know where to start, especially if you’re new to these practices. Here are some tips on how to incorporate high vibration habits into your daily routine:

  1. Start small and build momentum: Trying to incorporate too many high energy habits at once can be overwhelming and difficult to sustain. Start with one or two habits that feel manageable and enjoyable, and gradually build from there.
  2. Practice consistently: Consistency is key when it comes to developing long-term habits. Try to practice your chosen habits daily, or at least a few times a week. Consistency will help you to build momentum and make these practices a natural part of your daily routine.
  3. Set reminders and accountability: Set reminders for yourself throughout the day to practice your new habits, especially in the early phases. This could be an alarm on your phone, a sticky note on your computer with a motivating phrase, or a friend who can help hold you accountable.
  4. Be gentle with yourself and celebrate your progress: It’s important to approach this energy upleveling process with a sense of self-compassion and kindness. Remember that progress takes time, and it’s okay to make mistakes or miss a day. Celebrate your progress and recognize the positive changes that you’re making in your life.

Now, some simple ideas and effective ways to incorporate high vibration habits into your daily routine:

  • Start your day with a gratitude practice: Before getting out of bed, take a few moments to reflect on three things you’re grateful for. This simple morning ritual can help you start your day on a positive note and cultivate a sense of gratitude throughout the day.
  • Take a mindful walk in nature: Go for a walk in a nearby park or nature reserve and focus on being present in the moment. Take deep breaths, notice the beauty around you, and allow yourself to connect with nature.
  • Practice positive affirmations: Write down or say aloud positive affirmations that resonate with you, such as “I am worthy,” “I am capable,” or “I am loved.” Repeat them to yourself throughout the day to boost your confidence and self-esteem.
  • Listen to high vibration music: Create a playlist of music that uplifts and inspires you. Listen to it while getting ready in the morning, during your commute, or while doing household chores.
  • Eating well: Start incorporating more whole foods, herbal teas, fresh fruits & vegetables, and more water in your diet. Bonus points for adding more organic food items and avoiding junk food. Make it a regular habit and you will start seeing the positive impact that eating well has on your energy levels and overall health.
  • Engage in regular exercise or movement: Choose an activity that you enjoy, whether it’s yoga, running, or dancing, and make it a regular part of your routine. Exercise can help boost your mood, get rid of stagnant energy, and help you feel more connected to your body. And needless to say, it improves your physical health as well.
  • Journal regularly: A regular journaling practice can do wonders for your mental health by allowing you to process different emotions in a healthy manner. It helps you to go to a deeper level with your thoughts, feelings, and learnings without the fear of any judgment.

Words and Actions That Raise Your Vibration

In addition to incorporating high vibration habits into your daily routine, the words and actions that you choose daily can also help to raise your energetic vibration on a regular basis. Here are some examples:

  1. The power of words and affirmations: The words we use can have a powerful impact on our energy frequency. Repeat the words “I can’t do this” or “This is too hard” a few times and see how it makes you feel. Now switch that up and repeat “I can do this” or “I am capable” and notice how you feel. I am sure you can feel for yourself the different frequencies of these words and phrases. You do not have to be a constant Positive Pamela, but spreading good vibes doesn’t really hurt, right?
  2. Physical practices that raise your vibration: There are physical practices that can help to raise your vibration, such as yoga, tai chi, or qigong. These practices combine movement with mindfulness and can help to release negative energy and emotions from the body.
  3. Social interactions & sense of community: The people we surround ourselves with can also impact our energy frequency. Spending time with positive, uplifting people can help to raise our vibration and attract more positivity into our lives. Try to connect with people who inspire you and lift you up. Also, think about the social media that you consume. Are the accounts that you are following leaving you with a constant case of FOMO and comparatitis or are they inspiring you to practice better habits and be more intentional?
  4. Music that raises your vibration: Music has the power to uplift and inspire us, and can also help to raise our vibration. High vibration music, such as classical music or nature sounds, can help to create a sense of calm and peace. But feel free to use whatever genre of music feels best to you!
  5. Visualization techniques: Visualization techniques can help to activate the law of attraction and manifest your desires. Visualize yourself in a positive, abundant state, and focus on the feelings associated with this state. This can help to shift your energy frequency towards positivity and abundance.

Incorporating these words and actions into your daily life can help to raise your vibration and attract more positivity into your life. By being mindful of the words we use, the people we surround ourselves with, and the practices we engage in, we can gradually shift towards a more positive and fulfilling life experience.

High Vibration Environment

Our environment can also impact our energy frequency, and there are certain environmental factors that can help create an overall high vibrational energy around us:

  1. Clean, clutter-free environment: A clean, clutter-free environment can help to create a sense of calm and peace, while a messy or disorganized environment can create feelings of stress and overwhelm.
  2. Natural light and fresh air: Natural light and fresh air can help to create a sense of openness and vitality in our environment. Try to spend time outside in nature, or open your windows to let in fresh air and sunlight.
  3. Aromatherapy: Essential oils can be a powerful tool for raising your vibration and creating a positive environment. Certain essential oils, such as lavender or peppermint, can help to create a sense of calm and relaxation, while others, like lemon or grapefruit, can create a sense of energy and vitality.
  4. Smudging: Smudging is an ancient, spiritual practice that involves burning herbs, such as sage, cedar, or palo santo, to cleanse a space or person of negative energy. The smoke is traditionally used to purify the mind, body, and environment, and to promote spiritual well-being. To smudge, you typically light the herb bundle or loose leaves, allow them to smolder, and then move the smoke around your body or space using a feather or your hands.

By incorporating some simple environmental factors and practices into your daily life, you can shift low energy vibes to unlock a greater sense of well-being and high vibrational energy.

What are the Habits of High Vibrational People?

High vibrational people tend to have habits such as daily gratitude practice, using positive affirmations, regular exercise, practicing mindful breathing and meditation, visualization, spending time in nature, and practicing kindness and empathy towards others.

Let’s take a look at the habits of some personalities who would almost universally be considered to be high vibrational people:

Oprah Winfrey on gratitude journaling:

I’m back to journaling—electronically—and whenever there’s a grateful moment, I note it. I know for sure that appreciating whatever shows up for you in life changes your personal vibration. You radiate and generate more goodness for yourself when you’re aware of all you have and not focusing on your have-nots.

Tony Robbins on visualization

The most important thing that’ll drive you is your ability just to sit down and create a vision of how you want to be and each day to live it in your mind. That simple visualization or, if you don’t think you make pictures, that simple sense of feeling what you’re going to feel like when you’ve achieved your goals, when you are living in the body that you deserve. That’s what’ll give you the drive, that’s what’ll give you the power.

Deepak Chopra on meditation

Meditation is all about connecting with your soul. Part of maintaining your well-being is taking the time to disconnect from the outside to go within.

Gabby Bernstein on spiritual practices

The practice that will serve your highest good is the practice of surrendering to the love of the Universe. Prayers, affirmations and exercises can support you in surrendering your fearful thoughts and energy to the right mind’s grace. It’s important that you don’t overthink each practice. Just do it.

Jack Canfield on purpose

If you can tune into your purpose and really align with it, setting goals so that your vision is an expression of that purpose, then life flows much more easily.

Incorporating high vibration habits into your daily routine can be a powerful way to raise your energy frequency and attract more positivity and abundance into your life. Whether it’s through daily meditation, mindful movement, or gratitude practice, there are many ways to cultivate a high vibration lifestyle.

By being mindful of the words we use, the people we surround ourselves with, and the practices we engage in, we can gradually shift towards a more positive and fulfilling life experience.

In addition to high vibration habits, there are other factors that can impact our energy frequency, such as our diet and environment. Eating a balanced, nutrient-dense diet, and creating a clean, peaceful environment can also help to raise our vibration and support our well-being.
