101 in 1001 List

Let’s crush them goals, yeah?

101 things in 1001 days

Over the last few weeks (months actually, if I am being really, really honest), I’ve been feeling like I’ve been stuck in a rut. I’m working on things, but nothing seems to be happening. I don’t quite know how to explain it – it’s like I am working towards some big picture goals (like lose weight & get fitter, achieve fundraising targets at work, travel more etc. etc.) but I’ve kinda let a few fun things slide and to make matters worse, I don’t even feel like I’ve made much of a dent in my big picture goals – except maybe for travel, but that’s a story for another day.

Anyway, I want to get some fun goals back in my life. Like, getting a tattoo. Exploring Bombay (even if it’s just for the sake of putting up a kick-ass guide to Bombay on the blog). Going on a holiday with my girlfriends. Watching classic movies. And that’s where this list of 101 things I want to achieve in 1001 days comes in.

Totally inspired by Mackenzie and her three rounds of 101 in 1001, I decided to create one for myself and work towards accomplishing the things on that list. Click here to check out the full list.

Now, the list is not all fun and games. There are some serious goals there, achieving which would make a serious difference to my life. Like running a 10k. I am really not a runner. I have a case of bad knees, and just prefer my cardio in the form of group classes any day. However, I think there is huge merit in pushing yourself physically, and a challenge like a 10k seems somewhat doable to me.

Anyway, I am super excited about all the goals / things on this list, and I cannot wait to share my progress with you all. I am hoping that by the end of the 1001 days, I would have ticked off most of these things, if not all. If any of you attempt a similar thing or are in the middle of crushing your own list, please feel free to drop in a line in the comments. I’d love to hear from you.
