101 in 1001 (Part Deux)
Yes, yes, I know. My original 101 in 1001 list is far from over. In fact, I am downright abandoning it. Read this for some background on why I am choosing to move on, but in any case, there is no point in crying over spilled milk, right?
This list is obviously not the entirety of all the things I want to do over the next ~ 2.75 years, but it is certainly a good starting point. I’ve been totally inspired by Mackenzie Horan to create this 101 in 1001 list, and I am super excited about striking out the majority of these goals (if not all) by the end of February 2023 (which is when my 1001 days will end).

Anyway, without further ado, here’s my current 101 in 1001 list:

GOOD HABITS
- Read every night (instead of using phone/laptop) before sleeping for at least one week ✅
- Update my “Lights” sheet every day for at least one month
- Go on a digital shopping ban for at least two months ✅
- Save 6 months of income
- No shopping for new books till I’ve finished reading at least 20 books that I currently own (10/20 books read) ✕ [Note: I caved, and bought a few books that I just could not resist!)
- Start and continue a monthly SIP plan ✅
WELLNESS
- Walk 10,000 steps every day for at least 15 days ✅
- Take calcium supplements every day for at least one month ✅
- Complete Kayla Itsines’ 12-week BBG program (full disclosure: I’ve already started this program, and I begin Week 3 today). UPDATE: Edited to —> Complete 3 workout challenge programs (1/3 – Chloe Ting 2 Week Shred Challenge, completed in July 2020)
- Exercise 4 days a week for a whole month
- Figure out and live a sustainable, healthy lifestyle that works for me
- No shopping for new clothes or books till I hit my first weight loss milestone ✅
- Use the infrared blanket once a week for at least one month ✅
- Go on a wellness retreat
- Do yoga every day for 30 days
- Reach my goal weight by Sep 30, 2020
- Go cold turkey on cola
- Take a no added salt challenge for 10 days
- Try out barre or pilates for two weeks
- No fast food for a month
BLOG / SHOP
- Post at least twice a week on the blog for a month ✅
- Upload three new products every week to the Etsy shop for at least one month
- Redesign the blog logo ✅
- Design and launch the Studio Rêveuse website
- Create a members-only free resource database for Studio Rêveuse
- Prioritize email marketing list for both the blog & Studio Rêveuse. Target 1000 subscribers for both
- Hit a $5,000 month from my creative businesses
- Complete and implement lessons from 5 online courses that I already own/subscribe to
- Get 100,000 pageviews in 1 month on this blog
- Learn to use & read data from Google Analytics ✅
- Make a list of all current subscriptions for this blog & Studio Rêveuse ✅
- Put up a guide to Seoul & Hong Kong on the blog
- Clean up my Instagram act for both the blog & Studio Rêveuse
- Map out and launch the Blog and/or Print Shop on this blog
- Show up on Instagram Stories for 10 continuous days on both the accounts
CREATIVE HOBBIES
- Learn pottery
- Use my “big camera” at least once a month for 3 months
- Take an art course (online or in-person)
- Complete and finish an art journal
- Document a Week in the Life once a year
- Create a video on the 1 Second App documenting a month
- Create a font system from scratch
- Purchase a sturdy tripod for phone/camera
CULTURE
- Read 100 books including 20 books written by Indians ✅
- Read all books by a particular author
- Read 10 books written by non-white authors ✅
- Watch 10 classic movies
- Read 10 classic novels
- Watch 15 documentaries (5/15 – Chasing Coral, Honeyland, Three Identical Strangers, The Speed Cubers, Icarus)
- Watch 5 new plays
- Go to a classical music concert
- Learn Spanish
- Learn to at least read Bengali
- Attend a music festival or a concert ✅
FOOD & COOKING
- Try one new recipe from all the cookbooks that I currently own (around 20 at the moment)
- Discover 15 new-to-me restaurants in Mumbai
- Try a new cuisine
- Make kimchi from scratch
- Learn to make cauliflower crust pizza
HOME & ORGANISATION
- Create a life inventory & update once every six months
- Implement a backup plan for my laptop ✅
- Create a gallery wall in our bedroom

- Organise and arrange my memory keeping projects + supplies
- Get a real monstera plant (and keep it alive) ✅
